Dear Friends,
Even though Easter comes so early this year, (March 23rd to be exact), it is the unofficial beginning of dressing for Spring. Have fun coloring and decorating Easter eggs and making Easter baskets. And whatever your tradition, an egg hunt, finding something the Easter Bunny left or a family dinner, we hope you have a special and meaningful day. Happy Easter, Happy Purim & March Madness!!
Easter Dress Hunt
Nothing closes the door on Winter louder than a joyous little girl bursting into a room in sunny,
daffodil yellow. She will melt your heart in this absolutely charming Charabia dress. Trimmed in
yellow and white flower ribbon, this French designer is well known for refined details and beautiful
craftsmanship.
At WVK we have a full selection of GORGEOUS AND AFFORDABLE dresses from Halabaloo, sizes 6 months - 8 years. This lavender
empire waist dress is trimmed in green embroidered flowers and is perfect for your baby girl to steal the show. This dress even has a
bigger girl version, great for picture taking.
If you are on an "Easter Dress Hunt" for an extraordinary look for your older girl, Dino E Lucia's entire collection will not disappoint.
This stunning silk and chiffon lined halter dress is a unique, high end couture look for the holidays. If you fall in love with the silk
pattern as I did, you'll be happy to know it is also available in a short jumpsuit. The sophisticated creations from Dino E Lucia are
available up to size 10.
Now for those adorable BOYS!
Don't worry. Here at WVK we got the memo telling us your boys would rather eat dirt than be described as adorable. But we know they'll be proud when they get those smiles of approval from friends and relatives at your Easter gathering.
Dressing your little guy for the holidays couldn't be easier than ordering this complete outfit from Jean Bourget. It includes a silver
grey
linen blazer, blue matching polo top and Bermuda shorts. Your son will be comfortable, classy and totally ADORABLE...just don't tell him.
Every boy needs at least one long sleeve cotton woven shirt. It is always in style and my favorite for any special occasion. Check out this
vintage inspired retro flower print shirt from Replay & Sons. They also design adult sizes, so if you are looking for a son / father look this is a
good option. (Sorry moms, I only carry sizes 12 months - 8 years).
This light weight striped cotton sweater in Easter colors from IKKS is ideal for your Easter Egg Hunt. Worn over a pair of fresh white
pants, it's a great, easy Easter outfit. Of course, it will work with jeans all Spring and on those cool summer nights or breezy late afternoons
at the shore.
The above options are in stock and available for immediate shipment. Every day we are unpacking boxes of new arrivals for Spring Summer 2008. I hope you love what I selected and if you want to take a peak at more, please click here for boys and for girls. As always, I'm here to answer any questions. Just email me at michelle@westvillagekids.com. |
Extra! Extra! Extra! WVK was just featured in: If you are interested, click here for a rundown on what Easter dress they suggest. New to WVK this season is a French designer Catimini. I hand picked every item and I'm sure you will be pleased with what I have selected. The infant line is perfect for either a baby gift or first birthday outfit, and the bigger kids' line is recognized for its color and everyday functionality.
For Easter this sleeveless white dress with the lavender, red and blue flower appliqués is exquisite. To ensure that your little one isn't chilly, consider the
sweater that is shown.
