Check out these three pairs of sneakers from Pom D'api, always high quality and high style. These "bad girl" gold converse-like sneakers are just the bomb and they have a side zipper for easy access. The velcro canvas sneakers are light weight, durable and can be worn by either a boy or girl.

As summer gets underway my girls wear their canvas sneakers with socks. By mid July, as the heat reaches its peak, they can remove their socks and have room to wiggle their toes in their sneakers. For camp, you need at least five pair of swim suits for your kids, one for each day of the week (some camps want you to send two for each day). Buying better quality suits will ensure that they will outlast the chlorine in the pool and the salt water at the beach.

For my girls, I prefer bikinis because they can wear the bottoms in the morning under their play clothes and then only have to change the top when it's time to go swimming.

For the boys, these swim trunks are durable enough to be worn as shorts to camp and they will love the playful patterns.
